We will
start our journey via the trans-Canada highway and head east for
Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. Stop at the renowned
winery to learn about the basics of wine making. Wine tasting and
purchasing of the popular icewine, red or white wine will be
available. At Lake Okanagan, let us listen to its legendary story
and
search for the lake monster “Ogopogo.” Settle down in Salmon
Arm/Vernon in the evening.

Proceed to
the Eagle Pass and visit the “Last Spike” of the transcontinental
railway where it connects the east and the west. Travel through the
Rogers Pass and Emerald Lake. After a thrilling gondola ride (adm)
to the summit, you will be captivated by the majestic Rocky
Mountains. Next, discover the town of Banff and Bow falls within the
country’s first national park. End the day at 1988 Winter Olympics
Games area - Canmore. [Upgrade
to stay in Banff: free time at night, Canmore stop excluded.]

Louise - Jasper National Park - Icefield - Peyto L. - Golden (L/D)
Visit the
Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks (subject to road
conditions). Journey to the Lake Louise, the “Jewel of the Rockies.”
The panoramic view of magnificent snow-capped mountains surrounding
the emerald color of the lake attracts millions of visitors
worldwide. Enjoy an atmospheric lunch at Chateau Lake Louise (meal
plan) and a promenade along the lakeshore. Then, head for Columbia
Icefield in Japser National Park. Ride on the specially designed
“Ice Explorer” (adm) onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier.
After brief stops at Peyto Lake, Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier, we
will stay overnight in Golden. [Upgrade to stay in Chateau Lake
Louise Hotel: free time at night, Golden stop excluded.]

Head west
for the interiors in the morning. At Kamloops, a city with over 2000
hours of sunshine per year, we will join a tour of the Ginseng
factory and learn about the Ginseng healing power. Continue our
drive and arrive Vancouver in the late afternoon.
Upgrade to Chateau Lake Louise Hotel Located
in the heart of Banff National Park, on the eastern shore of Lake
Louise and within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Further upgrade to
Lake View Room is available.

Vancouver Island by ferry.Capture the spectacular scenery en route.
After passing by Victoria’s historic Chinatown and Thunderbird Park,
visit Beacon Hill Park’s remarkable Mile "0" and the landmark
British Columbia Legislative Buildings. Then, explore other
significant heritage architectures surrounding the Inner Harbour
either on foot or by carriage (optional). Visit the world famous
Butchart Gardens. Return to Vancouver by ferry, or by seaplane
(surcharge applies).

Highway, we will pass by Horseshoe Bay, Shannon Falls, Stawamus
Chief and Squamish. Arrive at Whistler - North America’s Number One
resort and the host of 2010 Olympics Winter Games, then take a ride
of the Whistler Mountain Gondola and Peak 2 Peak (optional), you
will have time to relax and shop at the mountain or in the village.
Return to Vancouver in late afternoon.

In the morning, we will
travel north to visit the City of Totems–Duncan, where the streets
are filled up with over 80 totem poles. Next, visit Chemainus, which
is famous for wall paintings. These paintings illustrate the history
of the development of the area. By late afternoon, we will take the
B.C. Ferry back to Vancouver from Nanaimo, the second largest city
on Vancouver Island. (Breakfast & lunch are not included for guests
with all-inclusive meal plan)
